Chiropractic and Posture Exercise

How Chiropractic and Posture Exercise Work Well Together

The beauty of melding posture exercise to chiropractic is akin to finding the missing piece of a puzzle. Chiropractic, unlike anything that allopathic medicine has to offer, corrects spinal subluxations which in turn reduces fixated segments, thus allowing for increased motion and stability. Couple this with StrongPosture exercise, the crux of which is training the body to move differently while using balance, stability and strengthening as its foundation, and you now have given your patient the best chance for a stronger, healthier body and life.

I have worked in our family chiropractic practice for over twenty five years but having CPEP training and certification allows me to partner with my husband and daughter in a whole new way. Working directly with our patients as their posture specialist is invigorating and rewarding. I have always felt the need to have more available for our patients in this area, but lacked the tools needed; until now that is!

One year ago, I opened a Yoga and Pilates studio next door to our office. While this has served as an opportunity for some of our patients to increase flexibility(yoga) and strengthen their core(Pilates), there is still a gap for many patients that StrongPosture exercise will fill. All of our patients will now receive StrongPosture exercise training and the great thing about this is that anyone, regardless of age or physical condition, can gain some benefit from this training. The fact that these exercises are designed in such a way, through the use of ‘peel back’ techniques, that any person can be coached to their level of ability, makes it perfect for the chiropractic practice.

StrongPosture exercise will change our practice in such a positive way because it has the potential to change our patients’ lives. The StrongPosture principals will help them live longer and stronger!
