After all, without stress we wouldn't survive or grow. It is usually the mismanagement of stress that causes the real dangers to our health.

Harmony is the inner song of happiness we feel when the melody of our life is in tune. When somehow we are able to strike the right chord - when we can balance the expectations of our family and our responsibilities on one hand, and in the other our inner needs for spiritual growth and personal expression.
This is one of the most difficult challenges that we face because it involves us making choices about our priorities every day. Often we are too tired at the end of the day to decide anything more than what to choose for dinner.
Perhaps this is why we often drown out the symphonies that our souls long to compose...

What is stress? Take just a minute to think about that. You probably chose one of the "top ten" stressors: death of a spouse, divorce, separation, jail, death of a family member, injury or illness, marriage, loss of a job, marriage reconciliation, and retirement. You'll notice that some of those things are happy events. Unfortunately, none of those are stress; all these events are things that can cause people to be stressed, but, by themselves they are not stress. Some people thrive in all the situations mentioned above...
