This is a trendline I have talked about in classes since 2007..... From Wall Street Journal 11/10/11... "Wal-mart has a new plan to conquer the world by becoming "the largest provider of primary health-care services in the nation." http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204358004577028081422859896.html
IMPLICATION: People will be paying for more care out of pocket, and customer satisfaction with service will go down. OPPORTUNITY: Have a practice model which builds strong relationships based on providing service and value to those people now. |
